Merry Christmas!

6 Years, 33 Weeks.

Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful time to spend with family and loved ones!

It's been such a crazy few weeks that I'm finally able to catch up a bit, but it will only have to be photos and videos to recap Christmas week:

Dropped off Tux at the animal hospital before heading down to Avon Park for the weekend.

Tux was very excited to be there!

All packed up, ready to go to Lolo and Lala's!

A quick stop at the mall in Lakeland for supper at the food court.

Maddy enjoyed staying in Uncle Mike's old room!

Friday morning Tangie and I joined Mr. Bergherm at the local golf course in Sebring for a nice round.

It was a beautiful day, which made up for some horrific golf play!

We took Lolo out for his birthday, which was on that same day.

Went to Cody's to get some good old fashioned steak and potatoes.

We enjoyed an early bird special supper!

They enjoyed hanging out on the old pickup truck.

Drove through downtown Sebring and saw the lights.

Lolo opening up his birthday gift.

At church with Mommy on Sabbath.

Joined Bruce and family at his parents' home on Lake Jackson for Sabbath lunch.

It was a great haystack feast!

Catching up around the family table.

We enjoyed their dock after lunch, it was perfect weather.

The moms on the deck, making sure that

the kids don't fall in the water, they enjoyed the Berg's paddle boards very much!

Maddy did a great job balancing for her first time.

They could've spent hours out there paddling.

The men hanging out on the deck.

Christmas Eve get together at Auntie Net's house,  look at all that home cooked food!

Opening up their gift from Até Lyka.

Family picture.

Christmas morning, they each brought one present from home to open.

Maddy got new running shoes.

Brae had been wanting a pottery wheel to create stuff with clay!

Kohl and his new Star Wars toy.

Decorating ugly Christmas sweater cookies before Christmas dinner.

The uncles and aunties even joined in on the fun!

Maddy watches Até Lyka's creation.

The finished products!

The family voting on the most ugly and best design.

The kids tallying up the scores.

The winning cookies, the designers and their monetary prizes!

Another family picture.

It had been 3 years since we spent Christmas day with the grandparents in Avon Park.
Here's the comparison.

We arrived back home and the kids went straight for some presents!

Kohlden loved what big sister got for him!

We opened up just a few and saved more for the next morning.

Braelyn couldn't wait to work on her gem digging.

Kohlden and I at the airport to pick up Papa and Nana at midnight.

He was so excited and stayed up super late!

His sisters tried but

they didn't make it.

Excited to see the stuff the grandparents brought with them in their luggage!

Braelyn helping Mommy make fresh orange juice from the grandparents in Avon Park.

Time for Christmas 3.0 the day after.

The twins playing with a bin of Legos I scored on Craigslist for a deal!

Kohl and his stash.

Maddy with hers.

Braelyn got a lot of science and learning presents this year.

And back to her gem mining project.

She was so happy to pick up Tux.  He was so happy to just pee outside.

Supper out for sushi and Chinese.

Mommy putting together her new fruit basket.

Went to St. Cloud to a wilderness park on Tuesday.

Mommy making sure Maddy's new shoelaces were secure.

Kohlden working the action camera, filming the alligators.

Waiting for our airboat ride to begin.

A new experience for the kids and grandparents.

We needed those ear covers, it was very loud!

Supper in Celebration.

Checking out the snowfall in downtown Celebration!

Enjoying the sights, sounds, and crowds.

Waiting with Maddy while everyone was in line getting some ice cream.

She preferred the gingerbread house instead!

Strawberry picking at Oak Haven Farms on Wednesday.

They went to work right away!

So many strawberries to pick...

and eat!

It was a very sweet afternoon.

They enjoyed the zip line afterwards.

Mommy made a butternut lasagna for supper.

Ta da!

Enjoying a quiet night at home.

Maddy getting a foot bath that Kohl and I got for the ladies in the family.

Then she got her toenails painted by Nana!

Not to be outdone, brother got his done too!

Went golfing with Papa and Tangie at Forest Lake on Thursday.

Another glorious day, Tangie getting into the swing of things.

Meanwhile, Nana took the kids to go see Disney's Moana!

Friday was a nice day for a quick dip in the pool.

Next will be New Year's week recap.  Have a great weekend!!

Some things never change!
