Wow, it's here already! 2016 is now in the books, and we're into the new year at full speed. Not that anything has slowed down since the holidays; we're still trying to catch up!
We continue to have the grandparents from Denver in town, so you'll forgive me (once again) if I just post pictures and comments, rather than write a chapter book, something I've been known to do at times.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling.
Happy New Year! Here's to 2017!
Kohl joined me in getting supplies for our New Year's Eve party.
I guess he got pretty tired of walking around.
Giving Mommy love and hugs!
Supper at our local taco joint, and being serenaded by a Mexican and his guitar!
Went around looking at Christmas lights, including this one in Winter Garden.
Sleeping Beauty getting ready for bed.
We headed to church on Sabbath.
Lunch at Bahama Breeze.
Felt dapper with a bow tie!
Had a few families over to ring in the New Year.
We also made it a cookie exchange night!
Some of the moms chatting in the kitchen.
While the dads talked sports outside.
It was a perfect night for roasting hotdogs.
Great to catch up with everyone.
Drapers and Richard enjoying the fire.
The parents watching the kids play Pie Face!
Time to exchange cookies! The moms getting cookies for their families.
The kids wanted some too!
That's a lot of cookies!!
A nice gathering, maybe an annual tradition?
Braelyn enjoyed having all the girls to hang out with.
The group doing sparklers.
Mommy lighting up sparklers for Brae and Uncle Will.
Maddy loved writing her name in the air with them!
William and Richard put on a nice fireworks display for us on the bike path!
The Clarkes stayed and watched the ball drop with us.
Starting the new year right, my first round of golf for 2017!
Took Dave to play an amazing course, Redtail, in Sorrento. Very tough and challenging.
We were joined by Karis and Chris to complete the foursome.
Papa Dave enjoyed seeing the birdies! (actual birds ~ sandhill cranes ~ on the fairway!)
It was an amazing day. I wish I could say the same about my scorecard!
Kohl helping to clean up after last night's party.
Helping put together sister's puzzle.
They went roller skating with Mommy and Nana.
Maddy loved it, and picked it up quite well!
Movie night at home, enjoying chips and fresh homemade guacamole!
Monday we had Round 2 of golf, this time putt putt on International Drive.

The littles start the next hole as the rest finishes up, Mommy keeping score.
Need to get a better stance!
The kids enjoyed themselves immensely.
The round came with food to feed the baby alligators afterwards.
Supper at Chuy's on I-Drive. Great Mexican restaurant.
Papa and I working on a house project, thanks to Karis for loaning out his breathtaking table saw!
Uncle Mike joined us for supper. He was in town for work that week.
And he brought his nieces and nephew some gifts!
The twins loving up on Uncle Mike.
He, along with Lolo and Lala, joined us Wednesday evening to go to the Magic game to see
Brae and the OJA choir sing the national anthem.
Walking through downtown, to the Amway Center.
This would be their first major sporting event attended.
Mommy picked up the twins and they made signs back at her office.
Meanwhile, Brae and her friends get ready in one of the locker rooms.
Getting into the spirit of things!
Our crew included 10 of us!
And the Zbaraschuks joined us well!
Kohlden loved watching the players and cheering for the Magic. Alas, we lost to the Atlanta Hawks.
Mommy took them to the KidZone there at the Center during the game.
Maddy enjoyed hanging on the rims!
Exiting the center and trying to beat the swarm.
Group photo outside.
It was a gorgeous night, neat to see the blimp above downtown.

Supper at NYPD Pizza with Papa and Nana before Braelyn's basketball game Thursday night.
Her friend Logan played for the Panthers. At least there wasn't too big of a difference in height...
Uncle Mike came and joined us, to give his niece some support.
The grandparents were also on hand to watch the game. Or read a book!
Prayer before the game.
She played point guard, and was responsible for bringing the ball down the court.
Dribbling around the defender, she did so well! She scored 5 of her team's 9 points, including a 3 pointer!
Alas, we lost to the Panthers, 19-9. But a good first game of the season.
A very proud family for this budding athlete!
We continue more adventures in 2017 next week! Have a great weekend!
Great week everyone!!!!!
