It is finally here, summer break, and not a moment too soon. I can't believe how quickly the school year had flown by, it was definitely jam packed full of assignments, activities, and adventures. The kids were all getting super antsy for their last day of school, excited to have a couple months reprieve from early mornings and homework!
Here's a visual comparison of the three from their first and last days of school this year:
Braelyn, 3rd grade with Ms. Ellington.
Kohl, Kindergarten with Mrs. Llewellyn.
Maddy, Kindergarten with Mrs. Hudak.
Actually, we are already deb smack and neck deep into our summer activities! Gotta keep the kids busy so that I they won't lose their minds!
Only 74 more days until school starts up again. But then again, who's counting?
Here was our week:
Last morning to school, taking some parting gifts for their teachers.
At pick up. Summer Break has commenced!
As per end of school year tradition, celebratory frozen yogurt at Menchie's!

Tangie at the Morimoto Asia station, a new restaurant at Disney Springs.
Probably the best one of the night, they served a deconstructed tuna sashimi sushi roll,
and served it in a tin can, like canned tuna!
A sampling of the 22 courses served that night.
Upon arrival home, the twins asleep on the couch and Braelyn watching a movie with Maura.
They liked her and had a great time!

Bright and early Wednesday morning, day trip to Tampa to take Mommy to some meetings.
She enjoyed having a chauffeur!
We hit up Largo Central Park, with an amazing playground.
The entire area was artificial grass, and there were so many different activities to do.
Kohlden was the king of the mountain.
We were close enough to Clearwater Beach, so we decided to have lunch there,
amidst palm trees and the Gulf beyond.
Spent the afternoon back in Tampa, at Glazer Children's Museum, which we got in free for
being reciprocal members of Orlando Science Museum. Good too, because it would've been
$35.50 for the 4 of us!
Kohl and Maddy enjoying the water play feature.
They had areas to sit and read, which they were all content to do.
The three cutest firefighters. I hear a calendar in the works!!

Brae left quite an impression!
Topping off the day with another playground just outside the museum,
while we wait for Mommy's meeting to wrap up.

At Forest Lake Academy's graduation service, watching the graduates march up and listening to the honors and medals around their necks clinking as they walked:
Me: [to Brae] "So how many medals are you going to have when you graduate?"
Brae: "A thousand."
Me: [to Kohl] "How about you? How many medals are you going to have?"
Kohl: [smiles, looks down at his fingers to start counting] "Eleven."
