We so enjoy the weekend and its events. But may we never forget the reason we celebrate!
Here was our week:
Braelyn and the twins were out of school on Friday for the holiday weekend so I took them
to Hollywood Studios for the morning.
We met up with Jeremy Jamerson and Adalyn, who do not have annual passes.
Which meant that for their 2 tickets, parking and food, they dropped $250 just to hang out
with us for a few hours! Crazy!
The kids enjoyed hanging out together, although I don't know why our kids can't smile normal.
Madelyn was thrilled her friend joined. These two never left each other's side
and held hands the entire time.
Working on our hoola skills.
With Mommy attending the Easter event at the twins' school.
The church had rented a helicopter to drop the Easter eggs on the field.
What church rents a helicopter?!?
It was literally above me dropping the eggs. I think one bopped me on the head.
We joined up with the Grodacks for a little Geo-caching in the afternoon, on the West Orange Trail.
The kids loved the adventure of searching for "treasure!"
The Geo-caching crew and one of our finds.
Early Easter Sunday morning ride out with Duncan.
We rode 30 miles across town to meet our families at his parents' home in Casselberry.
At Ron and Elaine's, for our traditional Easter brunch and egg hunt.
The little kids' tables.
The big kids' table.
The biggest kids' table!
The crew poses for a picture before the hunt. Kohlden seems super excited.
And they're off! We gave the little kids a head start.
Braelyn scrambling to find as many eggs as she can. The big kids were the last group to go.
Everyone inspecting their haul.
At the Hilliard's home for their annual Easter get together.
Twins!
Wait, triplets!!
What a great spread!
We contributed with a vegetable and dip platter, a hummus garden!
Spiderman is Easter-ish, right?
That's better. Maddy as a butterfly princess.
Big sister as a goofy flower & rainbow princess!
The kids getting ready for the Easter Egg rush!
The crew inspects their haul. Again.
The newest member of the blue man group!
Brae had Monday off, so we had a daddy/daughter date to the Animal Kingdom.
Riding the Kali Rapids.
We didn't get too wet,
so she decided to play with the fountain.
Going down the drop on the Everest roller coaster.
She spotted a hidden Mickey at the Nemo musical show.
A smoothie to cap off our date!
The twins' turn! Tuesday we went back to Hollywood Studios
for a few hours in the morning.
We went to a couple shows, but their favorite was going to the
"Honey, I shrunk the kids!" playground.
Midweek treat to Scoops!
Thursday the twins wanted to go to the Animal Kingdom,
so we went for a couple of hours in the morning.
Maddy trying to catch the bubbles at the Nemo show.
Kohl helping out with some chores around the house, especially since he was
the one who dropped most of the crumbs!
Inspecting a dead bumblebee we found in the garden.
The evenings are cool and pleasant enough to play catch and
take a bike ride around the neighborhood!
Randoms:
Sad when girls this young are into selflies!
Disney fashion alert! Loved how this mom was all into checking her make-up.
Hmm…I think I'll show the whole world what color my bra is today.
Saw a tram on the road going the opposite way as we headed towards Disney.
I think the driver was lost.
Went on a solo ride Wednesday morning for a short 20 miles.
The twins' graduation pictures! The ceremony will be in June.
Maddy & Kohl's Pre-K class.
Maddy had a bloody nose so I told her to put her head back and put some tissue on it...

Madelyn had found herself a jewelry set at Disney, and she showed it to me, saying she wanted it for her upcoming birthday. It had a set of earrings included in it, and she said to me, "Daddy, maybe when I'm sixteen I can get my ears peeled off, so I can wear this earrings."
Hmmm…how about when you're 21?
Found this picture on my phone. I never took it,
so they must have set the timer and taken it themselves!
This is one of the best blogs ever. I have never seen this many eggs in my life. Next year we will have to rent a helicopter for the church, unbelievable. Callen is now reading the blog to Dave for his 20 minutes of reading if he is here on Wednesday evening. It is working very well. It stretches him some with Uncle Allen's bigger words. Plus he finds out what the Florida cousins are doing. Love you all, Nana
