Gatherings

4 Years, 25 Weeks.

What a crazy busy week!

Visited our local farm.  Got friendly with the cat.

We had several families over for Sabbath potluck lunch, all were families with multiples,
including the Reiners, who are due with twins themselves.

The moms together for a photo.

Celebrating the Whitaker triplets' 3rd birthday!

4 sets of twins and a set of trips!

Visited the playground in the afternoon.  Thanks for the smile Maddy.

Supper at the the new Breakfast Club at the Publix shopping center.

The girls enjoy a late night cup of hot chocolate.

At Walmart at 5:30 Sunday morning, when a smoke alarm starts chirping and you realize
you don't have any 9-volt batteries anywhere!

Joined the Whitakers and several other families at New Smyrna Beach, for the triplets'
official birthday party.  It was such a glorious day!

The twins enjoying lunch.

Trying to get all the kids to cooperate for a picture.

Kohl enjoys a birthday cupcake.

The bigger girls took to the waves on their boogie boards.

Tangie and I somehow ended up building a sandcastle while everyone else watched!

Came back to the Grodacks to catch the Broncos game!  Thanks Corey!

Picking Brae up from school, I guess there was still a slight chill in the air...

Quick visit to a favorite park.  We hadn't been there in awhile!

Sisterly love.

Orlando Science Center after school on Tuesday.

I think I found Braelyn a book for Christmas!

Buddy getting a haircut while Missy looks on.

Braelyn relaxing on the ride home from school.

Shenanigans during suppertime.

Food:

Some hor d'oeuvres Sabbath lunch.

Homemade pumpkin soup!

Sirloin with Pearl Grey Guinea Hen egg, baby Portobello and pesto.

Randoms:

The gym at OJA,  housing classroom supplies as they continue the recovery process
from the flood 3 weeks ago.

Watched the sun disappear from the dock.  A great place to see sunsets.

Apparently the van was dirty enough for Brae to practice her signature...

The local farm had these from the wild chickens roaming around the woods!  Score!

Quote:

  • Picking the twins up from school last Friday, it was pouring rain, and we watched students from the nearby high school walking in the deluge:
Me:  "Hey guys, if it's ever raining this hard, I want you to give me a
call, and I will come pick you up, okay?"
          Twins:  "Okay."
Me:  "Do you remember my phone number?"
          Maddy:  "I-S-I-D-R-O."
Me:  "No Maddy, that's our last name."
          Kohl:  "I know!  Isidro!"

          Oye.

  • Playing a Bible version of Go Fish with the kids Friday evening, Mommy asked Kohlden for a specific card that he didn't have, and he told her to "gold fish!"

Have a great weekend!

  1. Looked like a fun week dad. I need you to be my planning director! I do not know how you keep getting away with going to Patriot home and watching the Bronco's!
