Mother's Day

7 Years, 1 Week.

It was a very busy week and weekend, highlighted by celebrating Mommy over the weekend.

I say this time and time again, but especially for Mother's Day, this family is so blessed by to have her as a wife and mother.  We are so grateful for her love and support, her time, energy, and patience. She is the glue that keeps us all together!

We love you Mommy!!

Mommy and her biggest fans!

Here was our week:

Kohl enjoying hot lunch at school, that day provided by Chef Kevin of K Restaurant.

Waiting to watch his sisters participate in the end of the year gymnastics program.

2017 OJA Gymnasics team.

Giving roses to Madelyn and

Braelyn after their performance.

A very proud family.

Great job girls!

Finishing up her Mother's Day cards to send out to the grandmothers.

Had Sabbath lunch at Jeremy Jamerson's parent's house to celebrate Harim's birthday, while Mommy joined a few mothers at the beach as is their annual tradition for Mother's Day weekend.  Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and they had to leave the beach prematurely due to rain.  She would join a few of them for dinner afterwards.

Braelyn enjoying her popsicle.

Kohl and Pierce took a quick dip in the pool, only to get out when we heard thunder!

Early Sunday morning attended a 5K for Mommy's former colleague who passed away last year from colon cancer.  Kohl made sure to have plenty of sunscreen on.

On their way to pick up their shirts and number tags, had to go through an inflatable "colon" that highlighted areas of concern to look out for when you get a colonoscopy.

The runners ready to go!

Maddy and Kohl line up for the kids fun run.

Congrats to the finishers!

The EY team ready to head out.

Getting some free samples (which also meant free marketing for them) from the power crunch company.

Hanging around while waiting for Mommy and Brae to finish.

Brae would run ahead and sit and wait for Mommy to catch up.

Tired but all smiles.

After showers headed to Universal City Walk for a late lunch and the afternoon.

Taking Mommy out to the Chocolate Emporium.

Checking out all the samples of chocolates they have.

He looked like a bug wearing a hat.

And she a very small hat!

Checking out all the different flavors of shakes available.

The inside of the restaurant looked like an old 1900's factory.

We were joined by one of the characters that roam about while you ate!

Brother and

sisters all catch

a wave after lunch.

Getting ready to see the animated movie "Boss Baby", Mommy's choice, of course!

Catching some rays at Margaritaville.

Back to the Chocolate Emporium for dessert, we got the chocolate sundae and a banana shake!

Brae helping to clean the van up for her friends the following day.

It was pool day for the 4th graders on Tuesday and I had the pleasure of
chaperoning Brae and several of her friends to the pool.

She was so happy to be out of class and with her friends.

Lining up for lunch of pizza and veggies.

And then back in the pool again.

Mrs. Braga and her class.

A quick stop to drop off and get some new books at the library.

But first a quick game on the computer.

She was exhausted from the day in the sun.

A rare shot of sibling affection caught unprompted.

Wednesday was the twins' water day at the school.

Maddy enjoyed hanging out with friends and playing in the water!

Wednesday morning joined Jeremy and Jared on the Lake Apopka Trail loop.

It was a beautiful day, but it got hot quick.

Jeremy suffered leg cramps 10 miles into the ride but we were committed to finish!

35 miles later and still smiling!  Well, at least I was!

Brae and Leif as the school year draws to a close.  She'll miss her science buddy!

Oh so close!

Found this when I picked the kids up on Friday, spent 45 minutes at Discount Tire while they fixed it.

Outpouring of love for Mommy for Mother's Day.

Breakfast in bed!

The sign of a true cyclist!

Have a great weekend!!
