Super Bowl Week

6 Years, 38 Weeks.

Hard to believe it's been almost a year since our coronation as Super Bowl Champions of SB 50, and what a steep fall from the top this year, not even making the playoffs, for the first time in 5 years!  Although it has been the least stressful for me, go figure, so I guess it's not all that bad.

But I digress.

Alas, our arch nemesis the Patriots are back in the Super Bowl.  Again.

*Gag*

I so look forward to the day when both Cry Brady and Belicheat retire.  But until then, at least this week, we are die-hard Atlanta Falcons fans!!

Rise Up!!

Could we be so lucky on Sunday?  Please, oh please!!

Here was our week:

Buddy getting his hair chopped on Friday after school.

The evening was chilly and perfect for a hotdog roast!

Sabbath morning's attempt to make waffles out of  another type of mix not meant to make waffles.  Fail!

Maddy and some of her girlfriends at Sabbath school.

We played a family game in the afternoon.
Kohlden had to drink a cup of water  as quickly as he could.

Maddy had to hug and tell each member of the family what she was thankful for about them.

Including Tux!

Brae had to run around the square lawn out front 3 times with a plastic bowl on her head!

Braelyn played 2 games Saturday night.  We won one and lost the other.

Making breakfast at the school before practice Sunday morning.

Joined up with the Clarkes for supper at Cracker Barrel Sunday evening.

Monday morning was bitter cold.  They were tired heading off to school.

Buddy gluing something together in the workshop.

Mommy was in Atlanta on Tuesday and Wednesday so we hit up Tijuana Flats for supper!

Maddy hanging around in Matthews Park.

Working on her lay ups.

Practicing her jump shots during warm ups.

Getting strategy from the coach.

C'mon defense!!

Point guard dribbling it down the court.

We won another game, 21-16!!

Have a great weekend!!
