Double 6's

5 Years, 50 Weeks.


I know I say this every year, and especially at the time of the kids' birthdays, but it's true:  time is flying by so fast.

6 years old already??  How can this be?!

6 months.

6 years!

We've been celebrating all week!  Happy Birthday to Maddy and Kohl!

Waiting for sister to finish gymnastics practice.

Prayer to end the meeting.

With her 2 teammates she has a special routine with for the Spring program.

Trying to use floss to continue loosening up a tooth that's nearly to come off!

All 3 out like lights after receiving massages from Lala.

The crew at church with the Atiga's and cousin Lyka joining.

The twins take a bike ride on the trail with Lolo and I after lunch.

We stopped to play at a playground at the halfway point.

Taking a breather on the way back.  We rode 12 miles!

Meanwhile, Mommy and Braelyn decorated their bedroom while they were gone!

Had the crew over for supper Saturday evening.

Bruce catching up with my parents.  His folks just moved to Sebring
so we'll be seeing them  when we go to Avon Park!

Marlissa and Tangie on plan so we made cauliflower crust pizza for them!

Sunday morning early, a family outing to explore Florida.

Our destination was Weeki Wachee Springs and state park by the Gulf.

At the mermaid theater waiting for the show.  Lolo and Lala joined us for the day.

Doing choreography underwater is tough.  They stayed underwater the entire 40 minute show!

We got to meet a mermaid.  Wait, not this stone one.

We got to ride dolphins too.

Took a tour of the river via guided pontoon boat.

The grandparents got a kick out of seeing all the fish in the water.  Lolo wanted to go fishing!

The water was super clear, but super cold!

Enjoying a late picnic lunch that Mommy packed.

We hit a Greek cafe for supper.

Saying goodbye to the grandparents.  They're heading out for a 3 month road trip next week!

An impromptu trip to St. Augustine Monday afternoon after school to pick up a mountain bike.

Met up with a stormtrooper.

We had supper at Noodles & Company, gangster style.

Had a FaceTime call with Uncle Mike as we opened up presents from California.

More time on her report.

Took an evening ride around the neighborhood Wednesday.

Played around at the other playground on the other side of the subdivision.

Which meant a night time ride back home!

Braelyn and her class took a field trip to the Kennedy Space Center on Thursday.

Mommy got to go as a chaperone!

She enjoyed hanging out with her classmates.

Meanwhile, Kohldie got a haircut!

Returning and getting new books from the library.
