Three's Company!: Last Day of School!

5 Years, 5 Weeks.

I can't believe another school year is done. That is, at least, for big sister. The twins still have a couple of weeks left.

It's crazy to think that she is done with second grade! And my, what a year it has been for her. She has developed immensely in her academics this year: reading chapter books, learning about money and time, improving in mathematics, and excelling in art and sports!

Now, if we can only get her started on playing a musical instrument!

Attended OJA's end of the year gymnastics show.

We spent the evening catching up with the grandparents and their trip to the
Philippines and China. They shared their pictures with us…all 4000 of them!

We took the grandparents geocaching with us in the afternoon. It was a new experience for them,
especially when a police officer stopped to inquire if we were okay, and what we were up to!

That evening the Mrs. and I attended the United Way's Chef's Gala at EPCOT.
We hadn't been in 3 years, so this was a nice treat!

20 gourmet chefs, 3 hours….

and 1 incredible venue!

Braelyn and Mommy left Disney early so that Brae could attend and perform at
OJA's Spring Recital at the Florida Hospital Church.

Monday morning with the triplets, we picked Gabby up and took her to school with us.

Breakfast is fun, breakfast is good!

They wanted to do some water play while I mowed the lawn,
so they filled up a bin and ended up in it!

Brae came down with a fever on Tuesday, so we tried getting her temperature down with a cool bath.
She felt better, especially after the meds kicked in. The fever broke sometime that night.

Sharing the books they had made in class, it was Author's Day on Wednesday.

Back at water play after school on Wednesday, this time with swimsuits!

Attended a talk and seminar on teaching parents and kids how to have a calm home.
The methods used are both practical and unorthodox, and will need time to get used to,
but it seems to work so far!
