Back To Basics

4 Years, 38 Weeks.

Papa and Nana went back to Denver this week, and so, our holiday came to an end.

We enjoyed 12 action packed, fun filled days with them, which included everything from daily excursions to eating out to completing home projects.  Each day was full, and we crawled into bed exhausted but happy every night.

So now we embark on the new year.  Everyone is back to the basics; work and school are on the schedule again.

Time sure flies when you're having fun!

Here was our week:

The kids sit with Mommy and Nana at church.

The boys hang out before lunch.  Lolo and Lala joined us after church.

The grandparents catching up over haystacks.

Kids excited to do Christmas all over again with Lolo and Lala.

Passing out of the presents.

Lala and Nana do the big swing with Maddy.

Family picture together.

Grandparents say their goodbyes and bid farewell.  Until next year!

The Mrs. and I had a date to France at Epcot.  We then headed over to the Magic Kingdom
until the park closed at 1.  We were the only ones on the monorail back to Epcot for our car,
it was so late.  This is us heading back to the lone car at the parking lot.

The girls doing their nails Sunday morning.  Nana is either paying homage to Tim Tebow,
or doing her rendition of Rodin's "The Thinker."

Papa and I continued working on more house projects.  Thanks for all your help!

The girls being silly at Tijuana Flats.

Then the whole family gets into it.

Seriously.

Taking the grandparents to OIA for their flight back to Denver.
Thank you for spending the holidays with us!!

The twins sport some new outerwear, it was so cold on Thursday.

An indoor reprieve from the cold, we visited the Science Center after school.

Papa takes a snooze on the kiddie slide at the park Sabbath afternoon.

French desserts!

Only at Disney would a grown man wear a Frozen Olaf shirt giving out "free hugs!"

My new side project.  Just kidding!

Okay, read the directions and see the confusing information…
So, is it or is it not used to disinfect contact lenses??

Our daily activities board while the grandparents were here.
The ones on the right were activities we planned but couldn't get to.

A final shot of our finished curtain project!

Winter finally early Thursday morning!

Have a great weekend!

See you soon!!
