More Of The Same

3 Years, 51 Weeks.

We had quite the busy week (what's new?) and yet I can't come up with anything to write about so I'm just going to go straight into the pictures:

Chipmunks eating grapes!

Captain Braelyn and her team.

Swung by the pool and hooked up with the Grodacks for a swim.

Twins listening intently to Mommy during supper Friday evening.

Sabbath afternoon bike ride with Brae.

Creating a lady bug container at Winter Garden's Flower Festival.

Kohl at the splash park.

Buddy helping to clean up in the kitchen.

25 mile bike ride Sunday morning with friend Richard Hickam.

Came home to our garage sale.  It was the community garage sale weekend for our neighborhood.
Here the Neuman kids came down for some lemonade; they were having a garage sale as well.

Kohl didn't want to sell his balance bike so he kept riding it.

Trying to stay in the shade.  It was a hot day.

We tried to sell the twins' baby swing.  Hard to imagine she used to fit in that!

Took the kids including the Neuman girls blueberry picking.  The Ottatis joined us as well.

More blueberries went into her mouth than did her bucket!

Content to just camp out and eat blueberries.

Such a hot day, we dipped into the pool when we got back.

Went on a 25 mile evening ride with Jon Neuman.  It was brutal!
This was me trying to recover when I got home!

Meanwhile Tangie and the kids went to Steak 'n Shake for supper.

Working on some puzzles acquired during the garage sale.

Bedtime story...in the closet?

Having handpicked blueberries with their oatmeal for breakfast.

Quick hide-n-seek session before bedtime.

They hid themselves very well...

Last week of soccer league at the school.

Dribbling the ball towards the goal.  Go Braelyn, go!

She was always going after the ball.  So proud of her!

The twins joined in the trophy ceremony.

Getting hers from the coach.

With teammate Alyssa G.

Kohl looking cool on his bike.

Hugs before bedtime.

Our princess playing with hers.

Food:

Honey and Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts.

Randoms:

Spotted an osprey on the main drive in the neighborhood.  Notice the fish clutched in his talons?

A cold front on Tuesday brought some strong storms and some much needed rain.

The kids made lemonade to sell during the garage sale.  They wanted to make it green,
so they added some green food coloring.  Unfortunately, the lemonade was pink.
Green and Pink mixed looked like Lake Apopka water...

Quotes:

  • Clipping the children's fingernails one evening, about to do Kohlden's:
          Me:  "Please don't move."
          Kohl:  "Can I blink?"

  • Singing Happy Birthday to Nana on Thursday over the phone.  She asked about the twins' upcoming birthday party and Kohlden quips:  "I don't want to share a birthday with Madelyn, because I don't want to be twins anymore."

All winners.

Have a great weekend!
