Weekly Recap

2 Years, 44 Weeks.

My apologies for another short post.

This was a rather exhaustingly busy week, and for the life of me I can't seem to recall any of it.  Pull it together man, pull it together!  So again, I'll default to the pictures and try to expound on the captions:

Friday night Food Trucks!  How Swede it was!

Checking to see if anyone wanted to play catch with him.

Calleigh's grandmother with the girls at Sabbath School.

And how did you all like church today?

Enjoying some peach cobbler for dessert!

Visited Clarcona Horseman's Park to watch some equestrians do their thing.

The girls loved watching the riders take

their horses over the obstacles!

Wondering if she'd ever want to do this.

Mommy and Maddy on the swing with

Kohlden nearby.

The bigger girls doing their own thing.

Playdoh whilst Mommy gets ready for the day.
She took the children to the Science Center for the morning.

The girls work on some crafts while

Kohlden plays with the boats in the water.
This would end quickly as he splashed another kid, soaking him.

He wanted to go on a date with Daddy so we went to Lowe's with a quick stop afterwards to Planet Smoothie!

Monday was Presidents' Day so no school for Braelyn.
We went to Costco to make up for not going there last week.

Eating cookies and enjoying the sunshine at the clubhouse playground.

Looking for alligators in Lake Apopka from the community dock.

The girls hamming it up at dinnertime.

Kohl enjoying the entertainment.

Braelyn took charge of reading the bedtime story to the twins.

We swung by the Optical Dept. at Walmart to get some sunglasses fixed,
and while we waited we tried on a couple...

Diva fashionista.

Glamour goofs.

Braelyn and Calleigh help lead up front at Adventurer's.

Randoms:

Sunday night sunset over our subdivision and Lake Apopka, which led to

Monday morning's temperature.   Brrr!

A little bit of frost in the backyard?

This week's FaceTime with the California Boys.

Home Improvement:

Installed a new fan in the great room.  Comparing the newer blade to the older, smaller ones.

Secured a handyman for hire to help install the wiring and lift up the beast of a motor.  Thanks Duncan!

Thought about leaving it up with only 3 blades.  Kinda neat looking, like an airplane prop.

The new fan with a 70" wingspan!

Quotes:

  • Kohlden was goofing off and being a bit obnoxious one day:
           Maddy:  [to Kohl]  "You're crazy."
Kohl:  [retorts, as a matter-of-factly]  "I not crazy.  I'm beautiful!"

           Good one Buddy!

  • We were heading to pick up Braelyn from school, when I had to quickly veer off to the side of the road when an Ocoee Police cruiser came speeding by:
Kohl:  "A cop Daddy, a cop!"
Me:  "Yes, looks like he's going to an emergency."
          Kohl:  "Yeah!"
Me:  [watching the police speed away]  "I wonder where he's going..."
          Kohl:  "To pick up Braelyn?"

Nah, I don't think so Buddy!

  • Tangie was having a conversation with Braelyn about Heaven:
Brae:  "I don't need a big house in Heaven."
Tangie:  "So what are you going to do?"
           Brae:  "I'm going to fly!"
Tangie:  "Oh wow, that will be so fun!"
Brae:  "Yes!  I'm going to have a lot of pixie dust!"

I think she's getting angels mixed up with fairies...

Have a great week!

          Twins:  "Me, me, me."
