2010 year in review

Tangie’s 2010 year in review:

1 bout of bronchitis while pregnant lasting over 8 weeks (I apologize to my team at work for hearing me cough non-stop)
1 stint of granuloma anulari that still hasn’t gone away (no, it’s not ringworm!)
4-1/2 months of pregnancy, 3 months of which I thought it could be “any day”
1 fantastic bouncy house birthday party for Braelyn – her last where she doesn’t need to share
1 trip to urgent care because Brae stuck mulch up her nose
2 overnight trips to Avon Park
2 nights out of town away from my bundles, leaving Allen in charge
2 date nights and 1 long weekend away (so this is what life is like without kids)
3 nights in NICU for Maddy (very scary when she decided she would come out not breathing)
3 items on ebay sold (next time I need to figure out shipping costs better)
11 items on ebay bought
4 new pairs of tennis shoes for Brae – growing bigger and wearing them out
4 airplane rides with infants in arms (it was worth the trip to Cali for Uncle Mike’s wedding! But definitely needed 6 adults for the 3 kids)
5 stomach bugs – one for each of us
6 rounds of antibiotics
9 kids birthday parties attended
14 days of school missed due to sickness
37 vaccine shots
50 nights sleeping in the recliner (it was actually pretty comfortable)
60 Christmas songs listened to while Braelyn kept asking to have the “bumbum” song instead
70 pregnancy clothing items donated to charity
75 people at our house for the 9th annual PumpkinFest
90+ nights waking up every 2 hours to feed
112 nights of house guests
180 nights until the twins finally slept in their own beds
250 “I do it’s”
300+ times Braelyn asked “why?”
360 bedtime stories read
1200 pieces of paper Brae has come home with from school…artwork, math, phonics, handwriting,…
1260 bottles of formula prepared
2310 breast feeding or pumping sessions
4500 diapers and 450 pull-ups gone through (thanks to all of you who have donated to our diaper fund.  We continuously accept donations J !)
7920 miles put on the new minivan after Uncle Jay drove it 1870 miles across the country
6 beautiful brown eyes staring at us in wonder and love (I think there were 2 blue ones for a couple days!)
And finally....
2 very exhausted parents!

Happy New Year everybody!
