14

7 Years, 9 Weeks.

The Mrs. and I celebrated #14 this week.  14 years sounds to be a very long time and yet the time has flown by so quickly.  What a great adventure it has been to share with this woman, this love of mine.  I am so very blessed, so fortunate, and so grateful to have her as my best friend and companion!  She is an amazing partner and I look forward to the next 14 years!

Happy Anniversary babe!  Here's to us!

14 younger...and thinner!!

Here was our week:

Enjoying some homemade watermelon popsicles!

Heading out for the daily outing.

Just chilling at Costco.

They wanted to try out the paddleboard.

Sunset Friday evening, the house looked like it was on fire!

The grandparents came up to spend the weekend with us.

The kids were very happy to see them!

Kohl helping lead out up front in Sabbath School.

The twins enjoy lunch with the parents.  Brae went with Lolo and Lala to the Filipino church.

Parent's date night out!  Celebrating our anniversary Saturday evening.

We went to K Restaurant in College Park.  Enjoyed the Mahi, duck, and goat cheese ice cream!

Chatting with the Chef afterwards.  Kevin Fonzo is a friend and sponsor/educator at OJA.

Lala preparing some jackfruit for her grands.

Went to the beach on Sunday, found her furniture store.

It was a perfect day in the surf and sand.

4th of July

7 Years, 8 Weeks.

Another fun week to celebrate our country's independence!  Enjoying everything the Florida summer and heat has to offer!

Here are the pictures:

Water balloon battles with their slingshots and bows.
Supper at a local Italian joint, where they enjoyed drawing on the table while waiting for food.

Kohl's creative squid.

Maddy's montage of everything.

Tackling the lawn as it hadn't been touched since the week before we left for Colorado.

I mean, the grass was knee high!

Braelyn making pancakes.

She finally gets to purchase her own iPad!  We waited until the 4th of July sales and she saved another $30 off!

Counting her well-earned money that she diligently saved just for the iPad.  It took her 6 months of chores, good grades, and monetary gifts from the grandparents to get to her goal!

She was extremely happy and very proud of herself!

Attended the annual Children's parade in Winter Garden on Independence morning.

Kohl enjoying the breakfast there.

We were joined by the Ottatis and

the Cochrans, along with our neighbors the Skiltons.

Getting final preparations and decorations.

Maddy waves her national spirit!

Even Tux came along!  Although he didn't like having to ride in the wagon and kept jumping out.

The group ready to head out for the parade.

Found our friend Jennifer in the crowd.  We try to see if we can spot each other without the other seeing us.  We do it every year so it has become a fun tradition.

We attended a 4th of July party and fireworks at Bruce Janssen's home in Sanford.  Bruce is Tangie's new boss at Siemens.

The kids enjoyed the pool and

the playground with Lake Monroe in the distance.

Maddy loved their tall tree swing.

The parents lounging about and meeting new people.

It was a beautiful afternoon and especially out on the dock we

enjoyed a lovely sunset.

Fireworks launching from their dock, and we enjoyed the city of Sanford's fireworks display from across the lake.

Lighting up some sparklers from the torches.

Enjoying the lights and sparks.

Uh oh.  What happened to Maddy?

Sentences.  "I will not be mean to my sister."

Have a great week!!
