We had a very busy week this week with the kids attending Vacation Bible School at Markham Woods Church in Longwood. It's always a fun time for them as they get to do arts and crafts and hang out with friends, as well as learn about Jesus and the Bible. This year's theme was Maker Fun Factory, focusing on themselves as special individuals created by God. It was hosted by our friend and neighbor Allison Skilton and we've attended over the past several years, but this year will be Braelyn's last as she will be going into 5th grade next year and that is the cutoff age. At least the twins will get to enjoy it for a few more years. But their most favorite part about going to VBS? Going out for lunch afterwards ~ they were always starving!! I guess you build a big appetite when you're having fun!

Swung by the Winter Garden splash pad to beat the heat.

Went to the Animal Kingdom Resort to see the wildlife, but it rained a lot.

We went to the Wilderness Lodge instead and curled up by the fireplace to read our Kindles.

Met up with the Grodacks for a little fun in the pool.
Went on a short 20 miler with Jared Thursday morning while the kids were at VBS. Humid!

We were there to meet up with Penny, Maddy's best friend who was in town from North Carolina!
They missed each other so much!

It sure looks like that was a great VBS. I can't believe how many kids attended. Orlando is doing a great job keeping the kids busy in the summer. I'm impressed! Love you all!
