WNBA

5 Years, 28 Weeks.

Braelyn made the basketball team!!

Of course, she has me to thank for her being so tall.   Because height runs in my family, being Asian and all.

Check out the fade away jumper!  And over a leaping defender!!

I'll admit, visions of her being drafted by the WNBA came to mind.  Hey, a parent can dream, right?!

Here was our week:

Having a conversation at the store.

Maddy photo bombing a couple of GQ models...

Dropped off Braelyn and Kohl at Mommy's office Friday afternoon while

Maddy attended a princess birthday party for her friend Riley.

She enjoyed meeting Princess Aurora,

and loved getting pampered and getting her makeup done!

With her two best friends in her class, Penelope and Riley.

Kohl was tuckered out, he fell asleep by my shoulder.

Looking snazzy for church bro!

Attended Jared's birthday celebration with friends for Sabbath lunch.

The kids doing a fall craft before eating.

Contributed with an Italian cheese platter.

The dads took the kids out to play on the field while the moms stayed behind and chatted.

Adalyn and Madelyn goofing off together.

Mommy and Braelyn cleaning and organizing the cubbies.

The girls going over the hot lunch menu for December.

Attended London Bergherm's birthday party on Sunday.
Brae and I got to ham it up on some benches outside.

The big girls around the cake and dessert table.

Can't be Spiderman and Elsa without the hand motions!

Me and some moms with Jennifer, those who had contributed to help with the party.
I was the DJ and had made a slide show for her.

Brae enjoying the brunch!

Publix shenanigans.

Working on his Core5 homework.

Tux inspecting Braelyn's work as she preps his food for the week.

Sometimes homework can be a little overwhelming!

Maddy reads the bedtime story.

At the Science Center while we wait for big sister to finish basketball practice.

Early morning FaceTime with Mommy on our way to school.
She's been in Pensacola since Tuesday.

Quotes:

  • Driving back home from school:
Maddy:  "Daddy, for Christmas I want a mermaid turnerator."
          Kohl:  "What's a turnerator?"
Maddy:  "It's something that an turn me into a real mermaid."

  • Maddy shows me a picture that she drew:
          Maddy:  "Daddy, am I created?"
Me:  "Yes!  And you're also creative!"

So creative...Elsa!

Have a great weekend!
