Wow, another week has come and gone. Funny how time flies when you're busy, and we've all been very busy indeed.
Work, school, projects, you name it.
Wrapping up week 2 of school for the kids, and we've enrolled Tux into obedience school, meeting once a week for the next 6 weeks! Hopefully we get this dog trained. At least, Braelyn and I will be trained, that's for sure.
Anyway, keeping it brief, I'm tuckered out.
Here was this week's highlights:
Didn't go to church last Sabbath, we had home church instead.
Always great to have these stories. They were doing a reenactment of Daniel and the Lions den.
Nap time with her favorite pillow.
The twins attended a combined birthday party for Devin, Addison, Erik, and Elin on Sunday.
Trying out some new mattresses. The twins have outgrown their toddler beds.
We found an injured butterfly that wouldn't fly away!
Tux watching the other dog working on the Sit command.
Braelyn came along to be my assistant.
Monday morning, the garage wouldn't open. Spring coil had snapped.
Tuesday morning and $215 later…
Supper shenanigans.
Tuesday we sent Tux to doggy daycare for the day, to get him socialized to other dogs.
Don't know who was more excited to see who when we picked him up in the evening.
The girls completing their chores after supper.
Every morning, Maddy brushing her hair.
At dismissal, meeting at the pick up line.
A lively bunch when food's around.
Kohl was Star Student of the Day for Kindergarten on Thursday!
He was excited to share all about himself with things in his "Me Box!"
More selfies on the phone, thanks Madelyn:
Food: Week #2 on Plan.
Beef Pho with Shirataki fettucini noodles.
Crockpot herbed chicken with Shirataki spaghetti noodles and salad.
Quote:
Getting ready for bed, I had asked Madelyn if she had gone potty, knowing fully well that she hadn't gone:
Me: "Maddy, did you go potty?"
Maddy: "Yup!"
Me: [furrowing my brow] "Did you really?"
Maddy: "Oh. I thought you were talking about last night."
One thought after looking at the kids in several pictures. If I could get Nana to go back to a school that has a dress code she would not need 4 closets.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
