This week was all about getting ready for OJA's annual fundraiser that the school does at the beginning of each school year. The Boosterthon, as it is known, will help raise funds to get the school some new lockers; they still having the original ones from the 80's and they were getting pretty dilapidated. This would also be the first time the twins would be participating in the Fun Run, so now we had 3 kids who needed to get sponsors!
So they hit the phone lines, reaching out to friends and family nationwide, imploring them to pledge donations, either per lap or lump sum, so that they could get prizes and meet their individual and classroom goals. Braelyn did a good job working the phones and practicing her spiel, and they all were very successful in raising some funds for their school.
They were so excited the day of the Fun Run, and they all made their lap goals! Kohl even surpassed the allotted 35 laps with over 40 ~ we lost count. All in all, it was a good day, with no injuries to report, and everyone feeling happy to contribute to this year's Boosterthon. Thank you to all who supported us!

Wow, another week has come and gone. Funny how time flies when you're busy, and we've all been very busy indeed.
Work, school, projects, you name it.
Wrapping up week 2 of school for the kids, and we've enrolled Tux into obedience school, meeting once a week for the next 6 weeks! Hopefully we get this dog trained. At least, Braelyn and I will be trained, that's for sure.
Anyway, keeping it brief, I'm tuckered out.
Here was this week's highlights:

Getting ready for bed, I had asked Madelyn if she had gone potty, knowing fully well that she hadn't gone:
Me: "Maddy, did you go potty?"
Maddy: "Yup!"
Me: [furrowing my brow] "Did you really?"
Maddy: "Oh. I thought you were talking about last night."
