A jumble of events, the most exciting thing to announce is that the twins are officially riding their bikes…with pedals!
And it took less than 20 minutes for them to get going! Those balance bike things are sweet! It made riding a bike one of the easiest things I've had to teach them! ;)
They had been pushing it back, saying that they would let me put the pedals back on their bikes when they turn 5 in April. But finally, on Wednesday, Maddy relented and said she would try. So I installed her pedals and helped her take a couple of passes down the sidewalk. When Kohlden saw how easy his sister picked it up, he wanted his pedals on too! I probably held on to his seat for 50 feet and then he pulled away. They both never looked back.
Great job Maddy and Kohl!!

Quotes:
On our way to pick Braelyn up from school the twins and I were discussing the difference between regular vans and minivans:
Me: [pointing to a van] "That vehicle is called a van. So, what kind of
car are we riding in?"
Kohl: "A minivan!"
Maddy: "Why a minivan? We have a Mickey in the back!"
Sure, that makes sense. A Mickey van vs. a Minnie van!
Maddy was playing with my phone and telling Siri some jokes:
Maddy: "Why did the elephant cross the road? Because you
