A Quiet Week

2 Years, 13 Weeks

I apologize for the late post.  I've kinda put the blog on the back burner for the past couple of days.  But don't worry,  everything is okay, I assure you.

As indicated on the title, it was a very quiet week.  Pretty normal, I guess.  Nothing real big or exciting happened, so I guess we're back to the same old same old.  At least until September.

Here are the pictures!

Just hanging around at a new play park in Windermere.

Such a neat playground, they even had picnic tables their size!

Enjoying a small cup of hot cocoa before bedtime.

Props at Sabbath School this quarter include frog helmets and binoculars.

The girls sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's bed!

Sunday morning we took them to Sea World's kiddie area and water play.

The seemed so fascinated with what they were doing at this moment.

Big sister giving a boost.

Little sis wanted in on the fun.

Sisters' bonding time.

Tangie wanted to take a picture of all three and then this other girl decided to photobomb* us!

*Photobomb:  (verb) -  to drop in a photo unexpectedly...to hop in a picture right before it is taken.  The fine art of spoiling a nice photograph by jumping in on the action.

Waving goodbye to Elmo, which begs the question:  Why is Elmo at Sea World?

Another new playground in the heart of Windermere, their swings were very luxurious and effortless!

Giving Daddy a hug goodnight.

Braelyn showing a makeshift ice tourniquet for an injured foot.
And then Kohlden photobombs the picture!

Sweet Maddy.

This week @ Costco!

Randoms:

Last week we had some real heavy rains, so much so that the ground was completely saturated
when you stepped on the grass!

The winds also ripped and destroyed both shade sails on our pergola.

Cutting and putting fresh mango on the dehydrator to make dried mango slices!
Thanks Lolo and Lala for the delicious mangos!

Dishes prepared:

Broiled Salmon on Orzo with Mango Chip

Japanese Soba Noodles with Hard Boiled Eggs.

Have a great week!

  1. So sweet of Kohlden catering to his 'diva' twin sis! And Big sis giving her 'still too short' brother a boost! And what's more precious than Maddy's warm hug and sweet smile. Your pictures speak for themselves the inspiring and heartmelting reward of the parenting your kids enjoy. P.S. I don't mind handsome "photobombers"!!! --Auntie M
