A Perfect 10!

6 Years, 45 Weeks.

A decade ago, we became parents to this beautiful baby girl.

A decade ago.

Wow, how fast those ten years flew by.  I know I get sentimental and a bit nostalgic every time our kids have another birthday, but really?  10 years?

We've officially hit double digits!

And now that sweet little baby girl has blossomed into a smart, athletic, and talented young lady. It's crazy to wrap my mind around the fact that she is just a mere 6 years away from getting her driver's license!!

Happy Birthday Braelyn!  We love you and are so very proud of you!!

Here was our [celebratory] week:

Taking a break with some sports drinks.

They decided to have hotdogs as their midweek treat.

Black bean soup for supper!

Saying her final goodnight as a 9 year old.

Time to get to work blowing up 100 balloons!

Thank goodness for the air compressor!

Her room before the balloons...

and after.  She tossed a couple of times but never woke up!

Brought fruit kabobs and yogurt for her class to help her celebrate.

The twins able to share with her.

A quick stop to the downtown library to get books for her science project.

She loved how big the kids section in the downtown branch was.

Traditional birthday greeting to one another via FaceTime.  Happy Birthday Uncle Mike!

Receiving birthday greetings from Uncle Mike and Auntie Gen.

Happy to get a box of corn starch!  One of the key ingredients to her slime experiments.

Supper at the food trucks.

A little "date night" as the kids played on the field.

Swung by the Maguire house for a quick tour.

Talking up front at all 3 services about our upcoming church retreat and introducing the promo video

Joined the Clarkes and Jamersons for lunch in Winter Park, riding the Sunrail from Maitland.

Maddy was happy to be hanging out with her friends.

Attending an art class, everyone good to go!

Braelyn with her work of art made out of clay.

A few dads going out for the evening.

Bumped into Nathan King, a former employee of mine at Banana.

We had some great seats!!

A lot of fun when we scored, the stadium filled with purple smoke.
We defeated the Philadelphia Union 2-1.

Last training ride for Marlissa before Sunday's Tour de Cure.

Still smiling after 53 miles!

Birthday celebration continues, Monday night Magic game with Isabella and Uncle Jared.

We're #1…well, sort of.  Actually, we're in last place in our division.

Comparing their heights to the players'.

Working on her hoop shots.

Ready to go to our seats and watch the game.

Her own personal pizza!

The closest we've ever been to the court, 12 rows from the floor!

A nice halftime treat!

What a game, down by 16 and took it to overtime, we won by 3.

Accompanied the twins on their field trip to K Restaurant in College Park.

We had a chance to make lunch with Chef Kevin Fonzo in the back patio.

Making her own salad.

It was fun eating it too!

Enjoying some nice apple juice inside the restaurant.

A class on fruits and vegetables.

They had a chance to color the patio pavers with some chalk.

As a foodie, it was a neat experience to finally meet this renowned chef.
His foundation along with Emeril Legasse helped to build the new kitchen house
at OJA, housing the Edible Education Experience program.

Class photo with the chef.

Enjoying their

mid-week treat

at Dunkin' Donuts!
