A Memorable Memorial Day Weekend

3 Years, 6 Weeks.

A huge thanks of gratitude to those men and women, both active duty and veterans, and to the fallen heroes, for giving us the freedom we enjoy today and everyday.

We are forever in your debt.

  • Tuesday evening supper with Adam & Annette, in town from Chattanooga.

Quotes:

  • Kohlden had gone #2 in his pull-up:
Me:  "Kohlden, did you go poop?"
          Kohl:  "Yes!"
Me:  [taking his hand to go to the bathroom] "Why did you go in your diaper?"
          Kohl:  "No, in my pull-up."

          I stand corrected.

  • I was dusting the wooden banister and base on the stairs/balcony when Braelyn looked out at the high windows in front of the house:
Brae:  "Hey, did you clean the windows?"
          Me:  "No.  Why?"
          Brae:  "Well, you need to."

          Thanks a lot.

  • We were listening to the radio and Brae was reading the song info on the screen:
Brae:  "Now playing Use Somebody by Kings of Lemon."
Me:  "Close!  There's no "m" in there, so try it again."
           Brae:  "Lime?"

  • Making summer plans:
Brae:  "When can Calleigh come over to our house?"
Me:  "When you guys pick up your mess and clean up the house."
          Brae:  "Oh.  Never mind."

         Sorry Cal.

Hope you have a great week!
